Recognizing Family Caregiver Support Network Volunteers
April 21, 2010
In honor of National Volunteer Week, VNA Community Healthcare would like to recognize and thank their Caregiver Support Network Volunteers and welcome four new members. The Caregiver Support Network is a free service for those in the community who are caring for ill or frail family members. Throughout the year volunteers and staff of the non-profit home care agency work together to provide free, fun and informative programs for family caregivers. As former caregivers themselves, these volunteers also provide support and guidance to those who are going thorough a difficult time caring for a loved one with a chronic illness.
